I am this close to failing out of fashion school. My one true love and I seem unable to
Make an arrangement. My mental health and mindstate are extremely fragile and Dangerous. All I can think of is McQueen and how he has been haunting me all semester. I want to suffer for fashion I will live and die for it ...I would slay fools for the right garment. I put everything on the line for such cheap fashion thrills as you cannot comprehend. I'm nothing but a no good low down scoundrel drunk,, getting high off of coca cola and my own laughter. I want to burn out like a supernova, super bright and super short. I want to sig in my own blood in front of the mirror and write long live McQueen in blood, then nothingness. I can only hear people tell me I'm crazy so many times before I start wondering if they're actually right and my mental state is in serious need of repair. Any more pressure and I feel like I might snap into something beyond what I am now and then there will be serious trouble for everyone involved. I want to suffer for fashion..do you hear ms? SUFFER!!!! I am worthless for anything else, my addictions and add in this city are too much, it's unsustainable the amount of medication I'm on is too much I feel lost in space nothing to hold onto no anchor no nothing just emptiness with no end.. Long live McQueen

NYC I made it!

So obviously I made it to New York and I am living it up in the big city, though I have been spending most of my time in queens where my new apt is. I have found a couple of amazingly hip ne'er do wells to share the huge space with and we already had one noise complaint, can you believe that? It was because my new friends were freestyle rapping past 10 in our gigantic living room, what a treat for me - you have no idea how cool it was to witness that amazing spontaneous performance. I wish I could share it with you guys but the iphone didn't get all the words clearly so you will just have to trust it was spectacular. Since this is a fashion blog I have to fill you in on what is going on in my fashion life, I am living in my small capsule wardrobe that I brought all in one backpack, mommi was right one bag was the perfect solution but not to worry I am going back home to retrieve my luggage very soon - only thing i am worried about is how wrinkly all my stuff will be after being packed for at least a month, just have to bring the iron too right. Let me surmise my capsule wardrobe that I am really putting to the test these days, bc I decided not to have the luggage shipped I am testing the accuracy and strength of my packing skills with the capsule - so far I am doing ok with just a few necessary basics, here they are for you to peruse:

One black tight weave linen blazer with long lapels and one button from club monaco
One asymmetrical cowl neck givenchy cardigan (only a few pieces of outerwear so far so good)
One purpley printed ruffled tank by rebecca taylor - the girliest thing i own
One star print see through black blouse, from target but you would never guess
One sleeveless black blouse with heavy amount of studding on the shoulders - only worn it once!
One james perse white tank, have worn this thing about a million times
one seven for all mankind white tunic, burnout style with an asymmetrical ruffle down one side
one helmut lang burnout scoop front and back tee in a nudey flesh color - got superglue on it so have been wearing very casually
one rebecca taylor leopard print burnout tee in grey

one amazing barbara bui pink linen jacket - put this on and turn into a bad ass bitch, seriously wore it all through first week of classes
One black under ligne by doo ri dress
3 pairs black tights - haven't brought these out yet but i will very soon
one pair mens ysl car shoes/moccasins leopard print - my most comfortable so glad i brought these
One pair black hand studded by me leather flip flops
one pair guisseppe zanotti spiked flats
one pair rock and republic studded black ballet flats, these now have holes in the soles that i must get repaired
one pair mocha color alexander wang mules - 6inches that I so have not been wearing (when it comes to trekking all over the city in heels my hate of being sweaty wins over my love of wearing 6inches)
One pair black laser cutout slingback shoe booties by elizabeth and james
One pair studded current elliot black skinny jeans (studs on pockets)
One pair, my faves, black nudie skinny jeans that have only been washed one time in the year or so I have had them
One pair black seven skinny jeans that are right at the ankle and have hook and eye hardware closures all up the back of the calf
One pair burberry indigo color skinny jeans (they might actually be straight but not sure)
4 good bras and tons of undies
2 pairs of jean cutoffs, one sydney short black vintage levis and one blue gap slouchy skinny cut
2 black leather belts, one daddio has donated and is my favorite and the other is an amazing diesel one with lots of hardware - very heavy like 3 lbs

since I have been here all i have added is:
2 grey walgreens tees for pajamas bc i stupidly forgot my eat the rich pj tee
one pair mens paul smith gladiator sandals (needed another walking shoe) These were only 45 at the most incredible resale shop youve ever seen in the east village
One black graphic tee that says "black rain white noise" really big - another pj tee that I can wear out, its by chronicles of never

anyway I have been so good about not shopping I am very proud of myself, i haven't been going into stores or browsing or anything - its very difficult but i figure if I quit drinking then I can quit my shopping habit too...(though i did see a pair of wang shoes i have been dying to get my hands on ever since he began making shoes last year, i can figure it out i think, i would sweat it out in those ones baby)

So it's fate for me party bloggers, I'm moving everything to NYC. I can't wait and don't worry I might be out of touch for a little while but I'll always come back to you dear readers if there are any of you out there. I'm getting ready to pack everything good up and take it on the road so this blog will now be about my adventures in dressing, kind of was that already but you know I just want to warn you officially. I'll let you know how the packing goes and how it is to live out of a suitcase with a hundred thousand dollar wardrobe. I exaggerate of course but not by much, all I need is my clothes and a mattress and a door that locks, maybe a couple of clothing racks to make my life a little easier but they will come later. First off I need to get myself there, say goodbye to all the htown exes and move on...this is going to be the next adventure and I'm very ambitious, I will die before I return a failure to this town.. Lately I've been trying to get in some boy time with whomever is willing to satisfy my needs, I'm like a leopard I kill my man prey then leave it for a bit - maybe I get scared off by another hunter but usually it's just to let it rot a little, making it that much sweeter the next time around...sounds gross but is it ever so true.. I like to revisit my kills just to be sure they don't forget who's boss..the boss of myself only of course don't get me twisted...just the line ranger looking always for the next target to take down, then I either revisit intensely for a week or so or leave it to return months or years later. The life of a single chick makes me so much happier, I'm just glad I found myself again...
So I ramble on about boys but I just wanted to vent a little..fashion is the topic at hand and menswear is on my mind. I've been buying it up like crazy to wear in NYC and believe me it's working out so well, I can't wait till it gets a bit cold so I can whip out my new scotch and soda peacoat and the not matchy scarf..ohhh fall I'm craving you like an 88 k5 blazer with no ac. Another menswear find is a diesel utility jacket that is going to be a major go to I already know, also a white tee that says eat the rich on it, bc the rich should all be devoured by hungry ass leopards like myself. Also a great microthin theory tee that I love for the misty green color and the vneck is wrapped a little which I love - the smallest details make me the most happy. I'm gonna go see if I can find it in another color real quick, shall return readers, don't miss me too much . xxx

So to all you single ladies out there...i heartily recommend a lone road trip, stay one night with a good, old friend then come back completely refreshed. If you plan on taking this advice here is a well thought out hot summer packing list for you..wink wink

for driving..
loose cut off denim shorts

lots of jewelry
mirrored Dolce and Gabbana Aviators for when you arrive and black out tom ford aviators for the road
sweet pair of black leather sandals..mine of course are studded, the very best kind to have

Take with..
knowing you fashionistas out there you will want to change at a clean truck stop before arrival so don't forget...
toothbrush and paste..all important depending on your host
black current elliot studded jeans (which i forgot..imagine my humiliation showing up in denim cut offs)
white flowy tee shirt...again mine was fudged up i couldn't go anywhere in it once i put it on
again studded leather sandals

for after rigorous activity
replace the serious driving shorts and the big brass daddio belt
a black rock tee should work just perfectly
leopard pony hair driving shoes for the walk to and from the car in its far parking lot

for sleeping

For the next day
of course you will take a denim mini for the next day as you want to be cuter this day than the day before

kova and tee white burnout tunic, a little see thru but whos looking except the locals, wear it long so it almost covers the mini like a dress..but obviously too short to be a dress so try it as a cover-up then replace denim mini
black studded sandals again
go find yourself a local bikini, the coolest easiest place for me to find one was the walmart down the road, each piece was 5 dollars! amazing right...i got an xs black and white reptile print triangle top and black sparkley glitter tie side bottoms
ideally one would have taken the brand new never worn studded target bikini or a fabulous too small to wear in public knit one but whatevs

dont forget all the toiletry essentials like:

Dudes...I met Austrian bag and shoe and ready to wear designer extraordinaire today - Devi Kroell. I was seriously starstruck and when I say she is the most elegant creature I have ever seen/met , you know i mean business cuz i have seen a lot of well dressed good looking people. So sweet and beautiful you guys and her bags and clothes which i had never seen before today are so seriously fabulous that i just about died...I would literally homocide some ass for that origami eel clutch in nude...JK of course but want you guys to get a feel for the painfully serious desire I have for her pieces. i just really cant even describe how gorgeous this woman is...just a vision in a heavy soft cream silk, a great upper calf length full skirt and matching collarless chic jacket with the most amazing bracelet length sleeve - so sharp you could cut glass with it but soo soft and prettyily feminine but ne'er a ruffle in sight...i was seriously in awe and I hope I didn't embarass myself worshipping at her feet.. anyway had to share...you guys should be jealous bc I just met a master in her environment and at work. i am so happy about it, cloud 9 no shizz haha

So it is currently in vogue to do top ten essential basics, so since I've too often neglected the faithful I'll fill you guys in on my tops:

1. Black super skinney Jean, preferably helmut Lang or nudie's are good too
2. White vneck tee, probably more than one or two if we are being honest here
3. Grey grandfather cardigan, mine is Stella McCartney and I swear I wear it every single day more than once
4. Black ballerina flats - many are good, mine are rock and republic begging to be replaced but haven't found the perfect pair after much searching
5. Black wedge booty, have more than one of these and I love love love them all
6. Black razor sharp blazer, this goes anywhere and spiffs up any and I mean any outfit, wear them so much for work that I haven't been doing them casually but I always did before this job
7. Black fine leather handbag, I have several of these and each serves me so well let's make a mini list, one large balenciaga giant city with silver hardware, one medium size gucci with gold hardware, the big seals, one largish Sonia rykiel studded clutch that I die for it's so soft
8. Camel fine leather handbag, have a suede fringie miu miu bit have my eye on another SR don't tell anyone!
9. Red Burberry trench, just pulled this put of my closet and I don't know how I lived so long without it playing a current favorite role in the wardrobe
10. A sparkly dress, preferably a gorgeous nudie color one day I'll fit into mine again but these babies will take you far in the nightlife and for soirée dressing.

so faithful readers if you are still with me i applaud you. i haven't blogged in at least an eon and i so apologize for it, just getting the nuts and bolts worked so i can get a new computie so one day i will be back to my blog happy ways. this is an unusual post, i know we haven't gone over pre fall 10 and i have been meaning to do it but here i am at the boyfriends house using his comp and he is looking over my shoulder shouting out his opinion...of course i figured he was just doing it to annoy me so i ever so rudely snapped that his opinions weren't worth shit, well he disagrees and says he wasn't trying to annoy so this is an amalgam of the only places where our opinions seemed to match up...i know i know but its still true to the jonesy way, just majorly edited down to what he also thinks is "hot" haha...so for the first time here is the pickings of the jonesy/ian opinion from only the very best collections that i loved like everything from (but we are only showing the good stuff, snigger snigger)

this is proenza, very out of order but i love that jacket and i know he digs a short skirt so...we may not agree for the same reasons but at least we agree right? ha

the only little bit of balenciaga he dug, can you believe that - wonder what he would do if i morphed into the charlotte gainsbourg waltzing around in an all balenciaga wardrobe haha he would probably die...

he likes the wangster can you believe it, maybe just for the exposed nips but i don't see any here so that is a comfort.

omg i would so wear this to work everysingle day and if he likes it too then all the better

we like the exposed shoulder, and im gagging for wangster to get these pants out on the racks so i can go try them on.

another to die for work outfit...i love the mr wang has decided his grungey american sportswear wearing woman is now a worker too b/c i can't get enough of his pre-fall.

this is miu miu, im not convinced by the longer than life socks but that coat is quite charming, don't ask me why the boy likes it - im just glad he does so i can include her here.

he says he likes the schoolgirl socks, but i think they would make anyone who is not that size zero waif look into a mohairy beast, thats just my opinion no more important than any others...hehe

burberry prorsum, i was dying over half or more of this show, and they had menswear too which i tried to sway him with but he is not toi be swayed...i would live in this coat even in high summer id turn up the ac just to swaddle myself with layers of burbs.

omg this is the most pimp thing on the planet both of us think so, and i hastily declared i would probably murder someone umnimportant to get it on my back, do i jest? lets think about that one for a sec....still thinking...

ahh burberry, why do we not have prorsum at saks, that sux alot let me tell you when you are looking at burberry golf and brit all day long and there is not a stitch of prorsum to be tried on, only ever so far away at niemans, so saddening.

oooo givenchy, now we are talking serious clothes, love everything about this little cape-ish thing but don't say it too loud bc the bf does not do capes.

yes this is the most gorgeous coat out there, if it were cold around here when prefall hits the stores that would be so amazing...you can bet though that this won't make it to any doors except the ones that say Givenchy over them, like the ones in paris...sigh

Gaultier always does something right, even if i am unmoved by most of his collection this one sends me miles high so it makes up for the rest. think ian is into the dominatrix look she is giving us...

oh stella, she also does an amazing trench as you are witnessing here, he like the other better but i am torn.

is that a cardi? i love cardigans in every shape and form, especially with zippers as i have none and want several.

oh proenza you are soo schoolgirlish yet soo obscenely expensive, how do you get away with that? a very good question if i do say so myself, probably all those insanely fabulous shoes and boots and bags that everyone is snapping up.

see what i mean, would i wear this coat?....probably just bc it was ps, or maybe i really need a duffle coat...yes thats it, with fur please.

usually i hate it when shirt pokes out of the bottom of sweater but this one is amazing b/c i can tell that sweater is unbelievable up close, wish they would do some details on the darkjer stuff sometimes bc you know youre missing out...taptap style.com do you hear?

oh yes another PS, this coat is begging for a few moths of htown winter to give it some use

cute dress, sometimes mixing very close prints is a good thing...usually on the runway under the careful supervision of the designer himself...

these were all maybe ones, i probably love them and barely persuaded him to give me a maybe, but there are one or two that i had to be convinced too...proceed...

probably my only absolute favorite look of the season that made it on to the biug bad bloggy, admire please the skill of phoebe philo who was dearly missed...so glad she came back to somewhere big that needed a boost bc she has got it and they needed it and now i am a celine devotee...if only i could afford the stuff it would complete the chain of philo and jonesy

now this is am not so sure of, i am deoending on miuccia that it will grow on me, but you guessed it the bf is all over this one, he likes blue he says in the background...

the only couple of chloe pieces i could manage and he doesn't even wholly agree...he just doesn't do androgyny but thats him it is one of my favorite looks. even though this is a skirt...check out the rest of the collection hannah mcgibbon is a genius but she is still working to top the philo.

Hello ladies and the one gent that probably doesn't still read this...i'm back. so sorry to have been gone so long but you know how it is, i was trying to find a job then i found one so now I am settling in and working hard.. I guess i should tell you what happened. I stopped using the internet for cool stuff and started looking for a new corporate gig bc i was so tired of the way they were treating us at my old job. I looked and interviewed a bunch of times for a corporate thing, answering phones for work can you believe i even considered that shit..me neither. so no one wanted me to answer their phones and i couldn't understand why but i got fed up and went back to look for something new in retail, the first place I applied was Saks fifth avenue and voila here I am working on the second floor of Saks in the Gally. I took it as a sign that I should stick with what im good at and stay near clothes at all times. I am loving my new job getting new clients and having a great time playing with all the amazing fashion pieces. I am seriously obsessing about several pairs of pants and about a million tops, four or five amazing sweaters, three unbelievable jackets and one awesome coat. it is going to take me a million years to buy it all but i must must have it all...you know how it is ladies. I cant remember what were the last shows i put up here so I am going to just move onto spring summer 2010 and hope you guys can keep up. also I should tell you guys what i have been wearing lately...

yesterday i wore my black mansuiting interview suit (my clown suit, i really hate suits unless they are those rockstar units that i love) with my report signature patent peeptoe oxfords and a pink with white stripes buttondown. I changed into a pair of wooden clog wedges later to ease my feeties but they still hurt lke hell when i got off
that didn't stop me from putting on my rick owens robot leggings, alaia lace wedges, new orleans leg warmers, and a new charcoal baggy goth top that I got from shasa - this new trashy place in the gally. plus the sonia rykiel studded lamb clutch.

I am actually so ashamed to have been shopping there but i only look at the best shit so none of the stuff i got is obviously shasa (i don't think,er...) yeah so let me write you a little list of what I got:
charcoal goth top that is a shoulder slider and has a little matching skinny racerback tank underneath but it isn't attached so I can use it with other things
a black goth top just like the grey one
stretchy leather strapless minidress with a studded waistband that I cannot wait to wear
black and grey leopard print cap sleeve squareneck mini dress with little shoulder pads

today I wore my newish Burberry brit grey wooly skinny pants (some say they look like leggings but i so disagree bc they have a zipper and a button and pockets (and they are not black and cropped above the ankle...duh), long H&M vneck tank that goes below the booty. my zigzag pattern aquascutum jacket in black and grey pattern with sharp shoulders and my pedro garcia slingback stiletto clogs which i changed to my wang knockoff shorty silver crocodile cowboy boots.

tomorrow I am meeting with my writing mentor and i think I am gonna wear my dingy garage color rick owens bias bootcut jeans with my celine window wedges and the black goth top with my white wang bag.

now I will do some style.com action and get back to you with my favorite shows for spring summer, of course i am sure it will be all the usual suspects, balmain, isabel marant, dolce and gabbana, helmut lang, maybe a little wang and hopefully some thing new that will turn us all on.

hope you guys haven't abandoned me for good! come read me again, promise to be posting much more in the near future.

So I forgot to tell u guys ichabged from those cropped black khakis into the waxy black rick Owens drkshdw bias cut boot jeans first with jessica Simpson heels with zippers then decided the black six inch window wedges give the jeans a much better silhouette with the blue preppy oxford then I put on my black nudie skinny jeans with a black truly madly deeply check that has a cool feather/wing graphic in cream, it was all I could do not to wear a white vneck then I put on the wang krystle heels in nude... Today I am wearing apink ANC yellow tie dye yellowstone tee with a dark grey denim mini with little tan ballet flats.

hey guys had some pretty sweet outfits on the past few days so i am thinking i should share...im trying to remember how far back...

lets just go with friday to work

i wore an army green marc jacobs miniskirt with a black vneck and back tank and a black fake band cut up obesity and speed tank and rock and republic black studded ballet flats

then saturday i wore to a fun wedding one of my favorite dresses ever its orange with a nice kind of batwingy thing and a few grecian style pleats down the front and a little tie waist and very very short with dior tortoise shell wedges with golden straps

then i changed into a red and white checked minidress that buttons up the back with a mini red moschino sliding letters belt and my alexander wang nudie krystle heels that i alwas get so many compliments on

then today to worky i wore long black maxi dress and a slouchy forever 21 vest with a loop and gather at the booty end in the back...

so thats all for now, might put on some denim cutoff shorts in a sec...and my favorite kid rock tee yay!!

i am obsessed with the harem sweaty pant in grey and black so don't be surprised when you see them over and over again on this bloggy, i have got to get my arse into some of these and since they are Everywhere that shouldn't be too difficult should it?

these pants too are the kind that i would live in if i had a real job where i was required to wear actual trousers instead of living in leggings and jeans like i do now. don't misunderstand this is what i love to wear but i never thought i would say this but sometimes too much casual wear is just that, too much and you long to get a little snappy for work - i can't believe i jsut said that guys, wow...

love these layers they are sooo well done and this would be so great for fall weeekends if you actually don't work where i work on the weekends, i could actually wear this stuff to worky so take that back yo

omg this combo is fab, love the jacket and oh man tht shirt is fine, i think its a shirt, whatever i want it!

i def need a no sleeve short sleeve tailored jacket/vest thing just like this one, i also love these boots that they are showing with all these looks - so simple and so perfect which you know equals soo chic baby, if rag and bone did shoes i would be all over them

omg the pants i would love love love, i have examined every incarnation of them and i think i like these drawstringy ones the best, and you know that leather jacket is probably soft as butter after 12 seconds in the microwave

nice dress, you know how i love a little sparkle, or a lotta sparkle works too yo...i like these leggings that they are putting with everything, looks like a major wardrobe staple and more cool than a basic boring black legging - did i just say that, i mean i love an inky black leg but the seams add a little riding chic interest...

so i am wearing today my new favorite pearlsnap blue with pinky plaids and the robot leggings and madden ballet flats and these super cool enamel rose earrings that i got from the shop yesterday - theyre vintage my dahhhlings...

hey party people so sorry i have been missing in fashion for the past few days..weeks, not that long really. anyway i know all you guys really care about is what i've been wearing (thats if you are a true blue die hard like i am, and thats who i'm writing this for just makin sure) so i'll get to the good stuff.

basically i have been in a long series of mini, maxi and midi dresses as the heat in the H is stiffling and i hate to feel sweaty...excuse me fashionistas and working out are like two magnets that do not want to touch and so they push each other away. at least thats how it is around here, anyway i kind of hate workout clothes so thats a good reason you will never find me in them. i'm just gonna make a list of the little dresses i've been wearing and throw in the right now outfit which is pants..

today i wore my new kid rock tee and black nudie skinny jeans that are oh so comfortable, but a little steamy actually - i only wore them b/c they look right with the rock tee, so that was to work

then i changed into blue jean cut offs that are way too big and so fall to just the right spot on the thigh and are not too hoochy (think they actually belong to the sister so lets keep that quiet) and the kid rock tee bc it is amazing and i didn't want to take it off. it is kind of like that old guns n' roses tee with the skulls with the rock hair and the hats, but this is just one big skull with kid rock hair and a slash style top hat and a fat cigar, and on the top it says kid rock in hot orange and yellow letters, seriously it is the perfect shirt i had to bribe my bf to buy it for me at the concert with a dinner at barnaby's and it was so worth it. it has the perfect slouchy jersey fit and the amazing vintagey worn in graphic and i just would live in it if i didn't have to wash it.

so now since we are going to see bruno later i changed into my alex wang zipper boot cut jeans, another fave, and my alex wang nude krystle heels (that i have been living in) and a blue plaid with the tiniest pink stripe pearl snap with the sleeves rolled up, this is a guys large so it is really oversize but i needed a summer pearl snap and this one i looove...

oh and i've been carrying the yellow balenciaga since awhile ago in case you forgot...anyway so now i am gonna make a mini dress list and these are the things you will find me in at work or out with the bf or anywhere it is too hot to wear jeans which is everywhere if you live here.

so spent most of a recent paycheck at charlotte russe..pause for dramatic effect, i never thought i would go in there but we get the cutest little dresses from them in the shop so i thought i would check it out and guess what i found?

white strapless empire july 4th dress that has a dark blue trim at the waist and down the side of where the dress wraps in front and two little blue buttons right below the bust, sooo cute, looks like rag and bone and i wore it to a v fun lobster party and got stuff all over it

blue strapless oxford style dress with dolce gabbana style bustier stitching that is totally perfect for work, i also got this one in green oxford cloth

black super mini with ribbon tie and tuxedo style ruffles down the front bib area, this one is a wear only to the bf house and nowhere else dress.

black and white jones new york tunic dress with leaf graphic print and cap sleeves

bright blue midi length dress that has a wrap top that you strap down over your boobs and tie around underneath, in love with this one though the bf doesn't like it

black maxi dress that of course touched the floor and has a smocked tube like top an empire waist and little spaghetti straps, looks great with a teeny little misfits tee underneath or a cropped denim vest over...is that all, im trying to think

how many is that, not alot but i have been servin these up over and over b/c they are comfy in the heat, normally with black or tan ballet flats and the trusty neon bag or if its evening or i feel like being tall i'll wear the wang heels b/c they are still so amazing...im not so proud of this summer wardrobe but its too hot to wear most of my jeans, they just feel way too heavy in the daylight...anyway so thats the update for now...oh i've also been wearing my garagey blue rick owens bias bootcut denims with all sorts of tees cuz they are super thin and very light and go well with almost every top i feel like putting on

black westerny studded belt that is totally awesome - so great to have first pick at the coolest store in town

so on another note tomorrow is my birthday and i have decided to celebrate 26 in style with two celebrations, one date night and one girls night out and you can bet i will be best dressed at both of them!

my favorite thing about my bday is the new bday dress that i always get ahead of time and dream about till the day actually comes then i get to wear it and i am soo pumped...i love my new one for tomorrow nights date it is a little on the conservative side for me but also very very short which totally cancels out any consrvative action it has going on...and it will be amazing with tights in the fall and winter....so let me describe

3.1 phillip lim, my first piece of his tho i always hear how great he is, its like a shift dress with a navy top half then the bottom half is a pleated skirt that sticks straight out like a tent so you don't really see the shortness but then you so do.. the bottom half is black and has like schoolgirl style accordian pleats and then there is a giant silver zipper up the back...i am so pumped to wear it yay!

then for girls night out i found this cute little black mini dress at blackbird that i haven't worn yet, its french connection and has a huge cowl neck at the front and is sleeveless like a muscle tank...

omg you can see why i am so excited right?

so i hate to be predictable but i do have my favorites and mr wang is definitely at the top of the list..not just bc i wish i had the model off duty down and the bod to match but b/c his pieces are statement pieces that are not shouting like really loud look at me statements...he makes stuff that goes and not just that but does amazing things to all my other stuff and has super cool details like crotch zippers and metal toepieces and already broken in white leather...so you can bet your little asses i will be hopping back on my favorite horse this season and going a little mad for wang...again.. so these are the pieces i will be fantasizing about and that i would add to my wardrobe if money were no object...

this jacket is too perfect not to be at the top of the list...he has gone to the tailor and a perfect black blazer thats not to small or too big but just right would totally turn my goldilocks on.

now i know i know the other dresses were more edgy and featured crazier around the head shoulder arm area like bandages and shit but for someone who likes symmetry this one is perfectly out of balance, just enough to add a lot of interest to a sweet dark dress....remember this is what goes in my wardrobe not what miss thang will wear to the ball...

ok this is what i would wear to the ball...talk about a statement piece, i don't know iff i need to elaborate but lets just leave it at happiness begins and ends with hairy gorilla arms in the fall....

see what i mean about gorilla arms, they really turn me on man these pants i would skip but the coat/jacket would slide in so nicely with all my winter looks that i have already been thinking about

this is the kind of miss thing dress i like the best - sparkles on a simple and short silhouette..love that shit, bet this thing is amazing close up - thought i saw it on the 60 minutes piece with anna wintour and he said 1200 which seems a bargain for such finery...i just hope he keeps all the regular stuff within range bc that is one of the things i love about him

this is one of my favorite looks of the whole season...i would take the whole outfit and wear it all together once then mix the shit out of all of them for my outfitting pleasure, this would rock my wardrobe.

duuuudes...i went to austin and it was a fiasco as usual but at least i looked good! hahaha, so i'll clue you in to the looks i did then i wanna talk about my fave fall collections as they have been gnawing at the back of my mind for a little while now.

so ive been working for the past few days and so my outfits have not been so hot for some reason, i've been off so here is what i wore - im trying to remember...

friday:

perfect tissue thin and amazing color pink tee

black cotton highwaisted elasticized skirt from the target - has two little mini pockets on the sides

tan zara ballet flats

then i got dressed to go out and i wore

my favorite white bleached out rick owens drkshdw jeans and you wont believe what happened, they fucking started coming apart again - they were so perfectly formed to my ass and i had to wash them bc i spilled cherry diet dr pepper on them and so they shrunk a smidge and were kinda stiff and super tight and they are so delicate that they started to get another little rip in teh crotch...i am going to have them fixed and reinforced in that area bc i can't have my favorite jeans ripping everytime i wanna wear them...also i have gained like 10 since i first got them but they still fit perfectly b4 washing so i know they will again - just have to be very very careful with my babies... also i won another pair of this bias cut jeans on ebay that i am soo pumped about and they are a size up so they really should fit, and if not then they will just be cool and baggyish so i willwear them like that - i think they will fit tho anyways..moving on

soooo...i got my yoox stuff today and i love love love them both! i would put some pics but can't make the damn things work so ill just tell you...

one pair of black denim and black stretch jersey skinny jeans that are really more like leggings. they have black denim paneling on the outside of the legs and a jersey panel down the center/inner thigh and calf area and another denim spot in the uhhh crotch/saddle area. i am so in love with them, they are drkshdw my new favorite label that i have been amassing like crazy since the main rick owens line is way out of my budget and this one is all about denim my favorite material. i am pretty sure he designs all of his lines anyway so technically it is real rick owens even though it is the bridge line for denim and fur - my two favorites no shit. they are so frickin coool, i am obsessed with them - they will seriously serve me well i can already tell i am about to be living in them

one drkshdw black denim/canvas duffel bag with no zipper - i was afraid this thing was gonna be too small to use as a subversive replacement for my studded zara bag but its actually way way too big, it would be a perfect travel bag if it had a zipper but it doesn't so i have to figure out what i will use it for but i am sure i can think of something, i am soo happy it is big and not small its like a bonus! and i say subversive bc there is a screen print of the ricker - pet name for my fave designer -sitting at a table where there is a bottle of liquor on the table and he is holding a 9mm pistol in his mouth and pulling the trigger with a spurt of blood and brain shooting up out of his head...yeah so its intense...theres also a little silver panel that says "there is a palace that opens only to tears" i know right, very rick which i love.

hey you guys, hope all you hardcore fashionistas out there are dressing your shit up just like me. today i wore a cool outfit - simple but still good. very unusual for me to wear the same pair of jeans two days in a row bc i feel obligated to rotate my collection but wore the balmain's again today, also got some new earrings all the way from Argentina, they are verdigris copper and i looove them but i am retarded and wore them in the shower so a bit of the deep patina i asked for rubbed off..so i am getting some new ones and plan to keep these for rainy days and pool jewelry. I am so in love with etsy right now, i got the artist to do 4 more pairs of her perfect hoops for me in different finishes and she is also gonna do a custom sterling silver chain for all my charms and shit. I can't wait - it will probably take months but it is soo worth the wait. hooray for etsy!

ok so tomorrow is gonna be a whirlwind for me, first i have to drop my doggies at the vet to board and find out what time i have to pick them up on sat, then off to work at the store and hopefully get alot of hw done at the same time, then off at five and hightail it off to Itchies house to change into my concert outfit for the 2.5hr drive to austin to see my favorite band ever - the kills!!! for the second time, i am sooooo obsessed! they start at 10, then want to check out the horrors that are after them and then back in the car back to Htown where i will go to sleep asap hopefully b4 4am cuz i have to wake up at like 8:30 get my ass in gear for lsat class at 10 am saturday morning....doesn't that sound like fun??? just wait till you hear what i will be wearing, i have it all planned out, here we go

so the first place we went on NYE was a total fashion bust except for a couple of girls, one that I already knew. I was feeling very antsy b/c there was no fab nye fashion like there obviously should be and was super relieved to go to this dive across the street and find a horde of lumberjack emos to take pics of, check it out and let me know if you ever want to wear plaid again.

This is Sovie, I was soo excited to run into her b/c I knew of course she had on something gorgeous, I shop with her at gregory's and she has guided me through some of my most important top dollar purchases. Love your winter floral Sovie and those boots are the kind that men are afraid of and make other girls jealos.

See what I mean, soo amazing, the heel is just a very narrow steel spike. I think they are Aliaia...swoon!

And this is her unbelievable bag, where on Earth did she get this cuz I haven't seen it anywhere else or on any real humans ever...I was so pumped to see the giant fendi clutch in real life, but I was wondering what she was doing with the brown and where was that gorgeous buff colored one that was all over the mags. still this outfit is a killer, watch out!

so though I abstain I still had to go out as much as possible in the few days before merry merry xmas, and these are the fruits of all that abstinent partying. several of these Houstonians look super fly and a few of them are going to take the brunt of my post christmas blues...

she looks fabulous, way to work the chocolate suede boots and ombre pashmina off her skin tone, super marvelous. and I love that woven belt which looks smashing against her tan cashmere (one hopes) sweater. I have the feeling that she works this color scheme alot because they are the colors of her Gucci tote bag.

this is one of pashmina's friends, I didn't ask him to take this as I don't usually ask for a don't. his pinstriped jacket has an egyptian immortality theme in quilting, so fing ridiculous I don't know why boys insist on embellishing an already standout garment with rhinestones or stupid quilty embroidery, leave the sparkles and the embroidery to the chicks unless you want all of them to think you are a touch fruity. so emasculating really, why do boys want to dress like us these days girls?

well that is obviously way to much christmas cheer for one man, this is a christmas sweater cardigan and the only excuse he can possibly have to be wearing the ugliest thing in his mom's closet is a christmas sweater party...but still that doesn't quite give him the right to turn up in midtown looking like a tranny elf several days before the holiday. wish i hadn't witnessed this one but its such a riot I couldn't help myself, lucky I got the pic b/c I nearly fell over laughing, note the upturned angle of the shot.

loved this outfit, I bolted out the door after her, she is working her layers to maximum effect with my favorite winter bottoms, super black opaques and I dye for those scrunchy black boots with the little wraps. I adore that she is doing a floral shirting thing in mid winter and matching her cami to the maroon in the button up, this says to me "I have a huge closet and i'm not afraid to use it all to create a cohesive look." The real crowning flourish is the amazing winter white jacket which was sort of a cropped bomber in an amazing thick wooly textile, should have gotten a close up of that jacket damnit. I think b/c of the obvious quality and cut she makes the cropped thing that is so old look new again.

you know how I go crazy for a sparkly dress. i just hate that beauty queen pose she pulls and maybe its my fault bc when people ask me what I want them to do I just say "be yourself" or stick my hip out and throw my hand on it as an example, obviously I need to learn a little about posing my subjects.

two hot babes! I wanted the bangs bc they are so rock and she wouldn't take a pic by herself, too insecure in front of my silly snapper - shocking for such a good looking girl- so I asked my gf lisa to jump in and keep her company. Normally I never put my friends in but don't you think lisa is so chic in tweed and those are kangaroo cowboy boots from australia, very nice. I also love the shiny black leotard pants on bangsy and her silky flowy ivory top, so smooth with a nice pair of shiny black flat boots...if you like flat boots, which I don't.

oops I blurred this one but it was in a dark and dank dive on memorial that no one should ever take pictures of, had to get this simple ensemble though. I love her stovepipes with tan boots and the grey sweater has the most amazing puffy sleeve detail thing going on. Just a look that is created out of the most basic of colors and garments that are perfectly fetching and chic, she was definitely the best dressed in the bar, not counting me of course.

what a rockstar, this is karoake night action from midtown. I love this guy's look expecially the cropped navy peacoat which is a totally well updated classic cut and color and his tan brogues with the little bumpy toe are too cool. boys in Houston don't usually pay this much attention to the details of their wardrobe so he is special...the fact that he was singing justin timberlake has absolutely nothing to do with this.

nice floppy sweater, could not let this chick get away cuz i actually bought that sweater at target and returned it the same day b/c I didn't like the saggy thing it did around the booty area. she looks cool in it though and miraculously there doesn't seem to be a saggy booty problem with hers, or it could be that I am distracted by the checkerboard of her Louis. I have often wondered why people buy that round topped shape, isn't it hard to carry and get into and stuff...hmm

Super hot looking girls at a sushi place, aren't they so fresh and so chic. I like both of these outfits, on the left is a cool tunicy top that I think was a golden lurex type of thing and i have love for all things sparkly - except on guys, duh - and the right is a floaty (probably cotton but who notices these things when you are hungry for sushi) drapey sweater thing that I love over a tee. and both are wearing darkish denim and black knee boots. I bet they are barely legal, they give that brand new drinker vibe to me but still they rock those drinkin outfits.

so I wanted to take a pic bc I thought she was in a bright white fur, kinda like that chloe badger coat that I have seen somewhere in my internet shopping haze, but was disappointed to find an old abercrombie style cropped flight jacket thing that is so hideous Im actually embarrassed for her. I mean she is cute and awfully tan for this time of year but girlfriend that jacket is begging for incineration. first off this one is obviously from the childrens abercrombie and doesn't fit correctly, im surprised she got the zipper up that far and there is just way too much elastic to make this an actual article of clothing for outerwear purposes, burn that shit dude - or donate at least if you can't bring yourself to set all that elastic on fire.

so much better, love a fab black leather jacket...or almost any leather jacket for that matter as long as it fits nicely like hers does and it doesn't squeek or crackle when you touch it which hers didn't cuz I tried. I of course love the inky black legs and her white flowy top with hazelnut boots serve as a perfect background for her great jacket to stand out on. good job moto chick, and don't you love her mini quilted bag, maybe not a chanel but we can overlook this.

so I thought this was a unique piece and I am always super excited to find another person wearing fur, as it is usually tall ass me and no one else, so I took this then looked at it a few days later and was like wtf. that is the most hideous dead animal turned into clothes that I have ever seen and it is probably a vintage fire hazard and a disaster waiting to happen..hope she didn't get too close to those gassy space heaters bc that would be scary. do like the winter white slouch boots, but nothing can redeem her from this beast.
